Description - THE most comfortable chair ever made!

This original Hans Wegner design dates to 1951 and was manufactured by AP Stolen. Know simply as "model 19", this vintage classic has become an icon of mid-century Danish design. It's affectionate Danish name (Bamsestol) translates to "Bear Chair", while in recent years it has become known as the "Papa Bear Chair" Here, shown in black fabric with teak legs and paws is probably one of the most comfortable experiences for the sitter

A substantial piece of furniture with solid construction, attention to detail, and clean lines, this chair sacrifices nothing in purpose nor at the expense of comfort....a timeless classic

Chair measures 36" wide (at widest point - top of back), 34" deep, seat height is 15" high, back height is approximately 36". Ottoman measures 28" long, 16" wide, 15" high.

Both chair and ottoman are marked as shown above.

Condition - Good vintage condition with some signs of wear to the brown nylon fabric but no rips, tears, or stains.
