One of the most well know and admired Danish architects of the 20th Century, Arne Jacobsen is as well known for his modernist structures as his timeless furnishings.

His 1959 commission of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copnhagen gave us the now iconic Egg, Swan, Swan Sofa and the lesser know but equally as impressive, Series 3300 seating, Drop chair, even more rare Giraffe Chair for the dining room of the SAS.

Arne Jacobsen helped introduce the Danish style of modernism to the world and was instrumental in making Fritz Hansen the manufacturing powerhouse it is today.
